Elements is proud to support and participate, in the Truckee community at a variety of levels. Many of us grew up in the Truckee area, and the rest of us are here to raise families and live the best life possible. We continue to look for and participate in events and programs that make a positive impact on our robust community.
WHAT WE DO
Tahoe Donner Giving Fund– We are the Founding Partner and donate $1 for each of our snow removal clients. The Giving Fund uses our contribution of over $4200 annually to cover their administrative costs so that 100% of your donations go toward scholarships for local students and grants to local non-profit organizations.
Exterior Home Makeover Giveaway–In summer of 2019 we awarded our first home makeover giveaway. We provided painting, staining, deck restoration, driveway sealing, and defensible space services for a complete upgrade to the property.
Elements Trades Scholarship–Spring of 2019 we awarded our first ever scholarship to a Truckee student seeking an education in the trades.
$ for Hoops–Winter of 2019 was our first year to sponsor a $ for Hoops scoreboard at Truckee High School. At the end of the year we total all points scored by both the boys and girls basketball teams, and donate that amount in dollars to the Truckee High Athletic Department.
Truckee Day Sponsor–Elements has been involved with Truckee Day since its inception. We are now the check-in location for Tahoe Donner. We provide all of the materials needed for clean-up and donuts and coffee to all volunteers.
Truckee Jobs Collective and Job Shadowing–We are one of the first companies to participate in the Truckee Chamber of Commerce’s job site designed to keep locals employed locally. We also offer students the opportunity to job shadow through a connected program through CATT and TTUSD.
Dog Waste Ok program– We partnered with TD residents to print our Dog Waste Ok magnets. This program has been successful at reducing the amount of dog waste left on the streets and in yards throughout the community.
Youth Teams & Events– Elements continues to sponsor local youth teams and events.
