Elizabeth Carmel is the co-owner of Carmel Gallery in Downtown Truckee has been capturing the beauty of Truckee since the early 90’s. After moving here to take a job as the Town Planner for the Incorporated Town of Truckee, Elizabeth and her husband Olof started experiencing success with their photography thanks to a showing they had at the Starbucks next to Safeway.
While she credits the advent of digital photography and the ability to simplify the production process of creating prints, making a career out of photography requires a collection of skills that Elizabeth definitely has.
