Truckee Day Is Coming: How We’re Showing Up Again as Tahoe Donner Champions

Truckee Day is one of those events that reminds you why people love living here. It is a day built around community pride, local volunteer work, and getting ready for the season ahead. After a long winter, it feels good to be outside, see neighbors, and take care of the place we all share.

This year, Elements Mountain Company is proud to show up again as the Tahoe Donner Champions, and we are looking forward to being part of the effort.

Truckee Day is a community-wide volunteer day focused on local cleanup and improvement projects. It is a chance to help prepare public spaces, trails, and neighborhoods for spring and summer, while bringing people together around a shared goal.

In a mountain town, events like this matter. Winter is hard on everything, roadsides, trailheads, public areas, and neighborhoods. A day of coordinated cleanup makes a real difference, and it sets the tone for the season.

Tahoe Donner is a community that takes pride in keeping things safe, clean, and well cared for. Being the Tahoe Donner Champions is not just a title, it is a reflection of how much people here value showing up and doing the work.

For Elements, it is also personal. We live and work in this region. Many of our team members call Truckee home, and we spend our days helping homeowners maintain and improve their properties across Tahoe Donner and the greater Truckee area.

Truckee Day is a chance to step out of the day-to-day job sites and contribute in a different way, alongside the community.

Truckee Day is about doing real work, not just wearing a shirt and taking a photo. Our team will be out there helping with cleanup and improvement efforts, and we are proud to represent Tahoe Donner again.
