Join us for the 20th annual Truckee Day on Saturday, June 3rd to share our love for our amazing community by rallying together to clean up our streets!

Truckee Day Itinerary For Tahoe Donner:

  • 8-10 AM: Volunteers* will meet at our office – 17356 Northwoods Blvd Truckee, CA  – to receive cleanup supplies. If possible, please bring your own gloves (gardening gloves work great!). Enjoy donuts and Mountain Brew Coffee and hot chocolate as you limber up and get ready to clear debris from our streets.
  • 9 AM-12 PM: Participants will collect litter in designated orange bags. Once you fill your garbage bag tie it up and leave it along the side of the road on either Northwoods Blvd., Lausanne Way, Schussing Way or Alder Creek Road. Children are welcome if a responsible adult accompanies them!
  • 12-2 PM PARTY TIME!: Town-wide block party at Truckee River Regional Park, 10500 Brockway Road! Lunch, live music, and good times are available for all! The Optimist Club will be on the grill flipping burgers and the local band “Down the Rabbit Hole” will bring the good jams. We can’t wait to see our friends and neighbors celebrate 20 years of Truckee pride! Ride your bike to the park: a FREE bike valet will be available for convenient bike parking!
