A Recap Of Our Snow Removal Damage Policy

After a winter, now is an appropriate time to review our snow removal damage policy in our snow removal agreement terms and conditions.

First, you must notify us of any suspected snow removal-related damage to your property by April 30, 2023. This allows us to conduct our damage assessment while considering the circumstances of this excessively destructive winter. It also allows us to get a perspective from the operator who clears your driveway while their experiences this winter remain fresh in their memory.

As we often discuss, snow removal is a partnership between you, the homeowner, and Elements, your snow removal provider. We rely on you to keep obstacles in and around your driveway properly marked and visible to our operators. For example, did you make an effort to shovel out your bear box? Did you keep your staircase and railing reasonably clear and exposed this winter?

NEED A DAMAGE REVIEW?

Elements will repair damage caused by our employees’ gross negligence and apparent mistakes. But we can’t take all of the responsibility for this year’s catastrophic winter conditions. Therefore, we will continue to review each reported damage and evaluate each one based on what is fair for both you and us per the terms of our snow removal contract.
