Please contact us if you recently had your roof or deck shoveled and think some of this snow may have ended up in your driveway. We’ll take a look and let you know if there will be an additional charge to remove it from your driveway.

Our snow removal agreement with you includes clearing natural snowfall in your driveway. We even clear reasonable amounts of snow shoveled from your bear box, walkway, and entry at no cost. But excessive snow shoveled into your driveway from your roof, deck, or another part of your house is not included in our snow removal agreement.

The language in our contract states:

  • Elements’ contract covers natural snowfall. Elements is not responsible for driveways in windy areas that are subject to and fill with drifting snow after Elements’ snow removal equipment has departed. Special clearing requests that cannot be performed during normal operations, including moved vehicles, roof offload, snow shoveled onto the driveway from decks, walkways, or roofs, and excessive wind drifts are subject to a minimum charge of $200. In extreme circumstances, such as road closures, downed trees or cornices, and/or snow drifts larger than our tractors, Elements may not be able to clear your driveway on its daily route and, therefore, other services and additional fees may be required and charged to maintain access to your driveway.

In order to clear this additional snow we will charge you an additional fee because it is always heavy, and icy, and we often need special equipment different from the snow removal equipment that clears your driveway daily.

NEED A ONE-TIME CLEARING?

Please contact us if you need the excess snow recently shoveled from your roof or deck cleared from your driveway. We’ll take a look and let you know if there will be an additional charge to remove it from your driveway.
