- China Cove Trail Loop – An easy 3.2-mile loop and can take up to 59 min to complete the loop.
- Johnson Canyon Overlook via Glacier Way Trailhead – This trail is a 3.9-mile out-and-back walk and can take the average person 1 h 32 min to complete.
- Sagehen Creek Trail Loop – An easy but longer 5.2-mile loop and can take an average of 1 h 42 min to complete. This can be a popular area for cross-country skiing, so you’ll likely encounter other people while exploring!
- Donner Summit Canyon – This 3.6-mile loop is considered a moderately challenging route and can take an average of 1 h 37 min to finish, but the views are worth the climb!
- Peter Grubb Hut and Round Valley Trail – Enjoy a moderate challenge with this 4.7-mile out-and-back trail that can take an average of 2 h 19 min to complete.
