Elements believes in helping our community 100%. So in the spirit of this Giving Season, we are highlighting some lesser-known local non-profit organizations here in Truckee that are working to improve the local community through creative and impactful programs.

This year we are highlighting Camp Wamp, Crow’s Nest Ranch – Sober Living, CATT Community Foundation, North Tahoe-Truckee Homeless Services, and the Tahoe Donner Giving Fund.

CAMP WAMP

A week-long summer camp in the wilderness of the Sierras near Lake Tahoe, CA. We welcome kids with physical disabilities ages 8-18. “It’s about what you CAN do!” 

CROW'S NEST RANCH - SOBER LIVING

Donate and Win a Gozney Roccbox Portable Pizza Oven! Aspiring to become the Truckee-Tahoe center for sober living by offering healthy lifestyle opportunities

CATT COMMUNITY FOUNDATION

Provides design and construction assistance to other non-profits and governmental agencies as a way of “giving back” to the community.

NORTH TAHOE-TRUCKEE HOMELESS SERVICES

Their mission is to end homelessness in our region, one person at a time. NTTHS provides a range of services including access to basic necessities through safety net services while advocating and supporting short-term and long-term housing for those in need.

TAHOE DONNER GIVING FUND

Created in 2014 by the Tahoe Donner Association board to pool gifts from homeowners to support the good work of local non-profits and provide deserving graduating high school students with scholarships to advance their education.
