You have heard about our 2022 Mountain Life Photo Contest, but who are the judges? This year’s expert panel of judges features photography professionals based here in the Truckee-Tahoe region and one celebrity judge who recently won the Red Bull Illume 2021 Photo Competition!
Our 4 masters of the lens will be reviewing your images to help us determine who will be the top winners of our 2022 Photo Contest. First up on the judges’ panel is Ruben Sanchez. A man of many hats, Ruben has been capturing life up here in the High Sierra for over 20 years. Yes, that means he has been shooting since before our fast-paced, digital era!
From snagging covers on Snowboarder Magazine to snapping the first era of jibbing handrails, Ruben is no stranger to the viewfinder.
