Scot Nicol, founder of Ibis Cycles and one of the god fathers of downhill mountain biking, has been pedaling the trails of Tahoe Donner (TD) since the early 90’s. In 2016 Scot and his wife had the opportunity to become local homeowners and part-time residents of our unique spot here in the High Sierras.
Due to Scot’s part-time local status, Elements Mountain Company co-owner Matt Warren decided to chat with Scot about his time here in TD, what he has been up to over at Ibis Cycles with the EXIE and what his favorite trails are.
